POSITION PAPER on Communications Related to Packaging Representatives from member organisations have expressed concern about the increasing number of publications and communications about packaging, questioning their reason for being and quality without referring to all their functions and especially their essential role in waste prevention (especially food waste), food safety and the improvement of consumers’ safety and health as well as in the use of the products protected and transported.
