The CNE (French Packaging Council) explores the challenges of decarbonization within the packaging ecosystem and its products, in a context where reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) has become vital to address the climate emergency. With this report, the Council provides an overview of the scale of GHG emissions by material and identifies the key levers for reduction, which are whether material-related or packaging-specific.
