1-  Could you tell us a bit about your position at Evolis?

I’m in charge of development for the Process Industriel group of EVOLIS, a trade organization. This group brings together French manufacturers specializing in process machines, packaging machines, and wood and paper machines.

2-  Evolis has been a member of the CNE since 2019 in its 6th sector (other companies, other federations and other associations): could you tell us what motivates Evolis to support the CNE and its actions?

EVOLIS has been supporting the CNE’s activities since 2019 because of the quality and relevance of the topics addressed at its meetings, working groups and brainstorming sessions. The CNE stands out for its ability to address issues that are essential to our sector, bringing real added value to the industry and its players. We are convinced that collaboration with the CNE will enable us to contribute effectively to common challenges and promote solutions relevant to our sector.

3-  The CNE and Evolis are partnering to organize a conference in March 2025 entitled “Packaging the future: together, let’s create a sustainable and exciting future!

The “Emballons l’avenir: ensemble créons un futur durable et captivant!” symposium, which we are organizing in partnership with the CNE in March 2025, has as its common thread the highlighting of the crucial importance of the packaging industry. We want to convey several key messages:

  1. Raise the profile of our industry: It is essential to show public authorities the strategic importance of our sector, which is often underestimated.
  2. Highlight our strength and our innovation: Our industrial base is both robust and innovative, capable of meeting current and future challenges.
  3. Affirm our role as creators of the future: We are convinced that we can demonstrate our ability to be key players in building a sustainable and promising future.

This symposium will be an opportunity to raise the profile of our industry and reinforce its image as a driver of innovation and sustainable development.

4-  The CNE listens to its members, and every year it organizes working groups in line with current events or in anticipation of them. What topics could the CNE investigate that would make sense for Evolis?

The CNE, as an organization attentive to the needs of its members, could explore several themes of strategic importance to EVOLIS. Among these, we consider that the following topics would be particularly relevant:

  1. CSRD and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Evolving reporting and sustainability requirements are crucial for our sector.
  2. The impact of the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation): Understanding how this regulation impacts our industry and how we can adapt effectively.
  3. Decarbonizing our industry: Developing strategies and solutions to reduce our carbon footprint and promote more sustainable practices.

These themes are at the heart of our roadmap and are constantly being studied and integrated into our strategy. An in-depth investigation of these topics by the CNE would be of great benefit to us.
