1- Can you tell us about your role in the CFIA and Prod&Pack exhibitions in a few words?

As Marketing & Communication Manager, my mission is to promote our respective events on all the media available to us and to ensure the connection between industry players and suppliers.

This involves establishing strategic partnerships with various key players in their field, as well as setting up events that are as close as possible to the challenges faced by manufacturers, all sectors and, more specifically, the agri-food industry.

2- The regulatory news on packaging is very important, both at the French and European level. What are the subjects related to packaging that will be dealt with at the CFIA and Prod&Pack exhibitions?

Today, the theme of packaging in its entirety is at the heart of the challenges facing manufacturers in all sectors. By extension, it is widely promoted at our CFIA Rennes (14-15- 16 March) and Prod&Pack (21-22-23 November) shows.

At CFIA Rennes, many highlights will be organised around the theme “Regulation – 3Rs: turn constraints into opportunities”. They will take the form of a morning of dedicated conferences, a space called “3R Pack’Solutions” where companies and startups offering innovative solutions related to the “3R” decree will be grouped together, as well as innovation tours led by Fabrice Peltier, packaging expert and member of the CNE.

As far as Prod&Pack is concerned, we want to continue the momentum of the first edition in 2021, where we organised, for example, the “National Reuse Conference”. We want to push this theme even further, in particular through a second edition of our “Re-use Packaging Line” animation. Our ambition is to make this event the most important packaging exhibition in France.

3- GL Events has been a member of the CNE for a long time. How much interest do you have in this CNE/GL Events partnership?

From our point of view, it is essential, even mandatory, that an event organiser such as GL events be present at the CNE. It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger. There are many advantages: to keep abreast of the latest trends, to be as close as possible to the market and its constant changes, and then, thanks to the support of the CNE and the strength of this partnership, to be the driving force behind the market and a community interested in all these issues.

4- In the context of upcoming trade shows, how can the CNE contribute with your support to the influence of Right Packaging?

We regularly call on the CNE, a key player in the field of packaging, to speak at our events. This was the case at the last edition of Prod&Pack where we were able to count on the presence of Bruno Siri, its General Delegate. We would like to continue in this direction and pursue this great dynamic, with speeches. We need to mobilise experts and multiply the feedback experience. In this sense, the CNE is indispensable, as it accompanies the largest packaging events in France.
